Case Study - HA #3

Learning Experience Platform for Hospital Authority

Background

Currently, HA learners must access multiple sub-systems within the HA eLearning Centre (eLC) to find available programs. This siloed approach may hinder user-friendliness, while learners would benefit from a centralized information display tailored to their specific roles within the hospital. In light of the increasing expectations of learners and the shift from face-to-face to e-learning modes following the COVID-19 outbreak, HA is exploring a more cost-effective solution that enhances the e-learning experience in an integrated fashion while ensuring higher reliability of training data within in-house premises. Our solution is set in place to address the issues.

How our solution helps

We implemented the following solutions for this project:

Development of a Learning Experience Platform

This platform synchronizes data from multiple internal systems (such as the workflow system, the curriculum system, the e-learning system), ensuring seamless access to information.

Integrated User Interface Design

We created a unified interface that enables users to easily access and view information from various systems in one place.

Implementation of an AI-Based Smart Search Engine

This feature facilitates efficient discovery of learning materials, allowing users to quickly find relevant content.

Outcome

Our solution successfully helped HA establish a comprehensive learning experience platform that seamlessly connects with existing subsystems and the core e-Learning Center (eLC). This innovative platform enhances the user experience by integrating with the in-house training administration automation provided by the HA Training Information Management System (TIMS). By fostering a cohesive learning ecosystem, our solution streamlines training processes, improves accessibility, and empowers users to engage with training resources more effectively.
